Do you ever want what your friend has?

So this is what my friend has, and I've always liked it. I found I wanted something tall above the cuboards in the muddroom.

So when I found this tin at DI for $1, I naturally began to look for a way to create something similar.

I found these weeds.  Literally these are weeds I cut from the side of the road.  So they were free! These things are great.  I'm thinking of getting more and just tying a fall ribbon around them for  a Fall decoration.  They are about 3 feet tall.  Any way I cut them all the same height and pushed them in to foam in the tin and added a ribbon, that I already had.  Not bad for a total of $1.

Here is the finished product.  What do you think? I like it.

Here it is in it's new home.  Just love it.  Of coarse I love most things that are free!
