Give Thanks for cheap decorations!

So it's Thanksgiving time!  I started putting up my decorations and realized, (like I do every year) I don't have that much.  Mostly silk fall leaves, gords and pumpkins.  So I pulled out all my thrift store finds and a quick trip to the Dollar Store and here's what I ended up with.  All the candles are from the Dollar Store and one of the candle holders.  Three of the biggest pumpkins are from our garden, other than the foliage everything else was from a thrift store.  Do you remember my mirror?  Look here to jog your memory.  I add the "Believe" to the mirror and I love it.  I did that before the Thanksgiving decor.

Next project was this lantern I bought at a garge sale this summer for 50 cents.  I figured it was about time to do something with it.  So I cleaned it up and painted it black.

Then I put it in it's new spot on my free table.   The floral arrangement I made a few years back.  My favorite part of this table scene it the "B".  I've been looking for just the right space and this is it for now.  (One thing I've learned from blog land is change your decorations as often as you want.)  I love it here on the mirror, of coarse I'm easily impressed.   What do ya think?

Wow this is a long post!  I can't help it.  I was on a decorating roll! So next I found these beauties at the Dollar Store.  I took them apart added them together, painted some othe the balls red and put it around a candle holder I got after Christmas on a clearance sale.  All of which I placed on a pedestal that I got at DI.  I actually have two but I forgot to take a picture.  Oops!

Speaking of pictures, I got so excited to do this next project I plum forgot to take a before picture.  This was a silver tin platter from the Dollar Store.  I spray painted it cream, put a brown glaze around the edge and added some vinyl letters.(You could paint the letters on also.)  Love it! And so cheap!

Last of all was my outdoor project which was free!  Remeber my free wheaty project?  Well I went back to the side of the highway to cut some more free weeds.  I put foam in my pots and added my free weeds.  Tied some ribbon I had around it and Ta da!  It doesn't get anny better than FREE!

So that's my long post on my cheap decorations!  I leave you with pictures of what my kids were doing while I was decorating.

Every time I see weeds or a grassy plant now I always think of you! I love the painted balls on the candle holder. I am going to copy your idea!
