I should not be allowed in thrift stores!

My mother asked me drop off some donation stuff to DI, so I can't drop something off and not go in!  Well I did just that, and went in.  I found the perfect size end table that I've been looking for.  I love the legs!  It was $15, a little bit more than I would liked to have paid, but it fit so well.  I'm thinking about painting it black, what do you think?

Anyways, I also found these subway tiles for about 10 cents each.  They cost 24 cents at Lowes.  That's over 50% off.  I secrectly have wanted these on my kitchen back splash, but figured it would be years for we got to that project!  But now it will be real soon!!!!!  I just get so giddy when I find stuff like this.  Problem is I can think of a use for almost any thing I find at thrift stores.  I try to only bring home the really good ones.

Today I worked almost all day on Christmas gifts, I stood up to take a break and looked out the window.  I saw all these birds covering the ground.  And flying around together.  I grabbed my camera and took these pictures.  Minutes latter a car drove by and they all flew away in a big swarm.  My four year old and I thought it was so cool to see.

See that is where you are wrong- you are EXACTLY the type of person who should be allowed in thrift stores. The rest of us can't see the potential that you do and so wouldn't know what to do with it all! Good scores as usual!
