Happy Birthday To Me!

While trying to finish the closet I celebrated my 41st birthday.  Yes I am that old!!  My kids took these pictures of me in all my early morning glory, (no make-up and such).
I had a great day of just playing with my sister.  We went to the Restore, DI and this very cool antique store called Euro Treasures. I got lots of goodies, mostly clothes, but my favorite gifts had to be this drill my husband got me.  It stays charged for 18 months!!!  (Anybody else out there get excited out of getting a drill?)
My other favorite thing was from my treasure hunt.  I got this architectural detail thing below.  I want to make a Ballard Designed inspired sign.  I got it for $5.  WOOO HOOOO!!!
I'll show ya how it turns out!
Thanks for all the love and comments lately.  Oh I've had so many comments and questions about the wall paper in my closet.  It is not wall paper, I made a stencil and painted it.  Go here to see how I did the stencil. People have also requested where we got the drawers and such.   I and my husband  made the drawers and shoe cubbies and all the storage we added.  Go here to see that.

Happy birthday! I'm only a year behind ya...turning 40 in August.

BTW - you would LOVE all the antique stores in Missouri. There is all kinds of stuff here and a lot of it for pretty cheap. If you ever come take a Church History tour you'll have to come by here and shop with me!
