Remember my $10 marble counter top?
Well it was finally time to give it some pampering.
Meet Jose' .
He is from Artisan Marble and Granite.
(They were one of the few places who would work with me. Most places wouldn't mess with stone that wasn't bought from them.)
And to top it off he brought his truck to our house!
He was awesome because he paid a lot of attention to detail!!!
I love that!!
First he gave my marble a clip.
We needed each end cut off about 1.5 inches.
I know that wasn't much but the total three inches gives us enough room to be comfortable on the potty.
Then he touched up a small chip on the front edge.
Then lots of sanding and buffing.
Look at that stone start to shine.
Next Jose' marked the spots for the faucets.
He had to start cutting them dry,
Then he added this suction rubber dam and filled it with water,
and finished drilling in the water.
I was very pleased with their prices and work.
Check out the new and improved marble waiting for her new home!!!
Not bad for $10 plus $120 for the drilling and cutting and buffing.
That's $130 total for a counter top that retails for $600 to $1000.
That is music to my ears!!!!
Can't wait to show you the finished bathroom, if we could just finish it!!!
