Another Wild Working Weekend!

So we had another wild working weekend on the bathroom.
We tried to finish the floor and we did.
We used white octagon and dot tiles.

We added these grey glass tiles to add a little bling and custom look.
I bought this 12 x 12 square of grey, black and white tiles.
We cut them all apart and divided them up into colors.
The black were to harsh and the white didn't really show up, so we just used the two greys.
It took us a little trial and error to get a placement pattern we liked.
Les liked just random placement and I was leaning to a more counted placement.
In the end we did a wide offset pattern with random placement of the colors.

I love the shine.
This picture is before the grout.
I picked a dark grey grout,
I think it looks good and it's just going to end up dark anyway!!!

Laying this tile was not easy.  But we finally finished.
You will have to wait till the end to see the finished floor.

Just in case you think we are all work and no play, here is a love note I painted on the wall for Les.
To bad we covered up my lovely art work with bead board!!!

We are getting so close!!!!!
Can't wait to show you the hole thing!!!!!

The floor looks beautiful. Very custom looking. It reminds me of my in-laws 100 year old house. I love how you are going with the vintage style. The cabinets and beadboard look great.
