Joseph And The Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat!

Talk about an amazing show!!
Austin's school really knocked it out of the park!!!!
I so wish Grandma and Grandpa Batchelor could live where they could watch these shows.
I took lots of pictures so you could see the whole stage.

Austin played one of the twelve brothers, Naphtali.
He is in the green with the striped coat.

The brothers were so good.
Check them out singing, they had such great expressions.
The stars just came down from the ceiling while they were singing.
It was great!

Just seeing my 16 year old with long hair and a beard was quite different but fun.  He love making it move.  He said he felt like a hippy!!!

Rock, paper, scissors... Austin gets to tell Dad what happened to Joseph.

Love this song, Austin had the funnest western accent!  Too funny!!

They sang and dance the whole time.

And yes, that is a real camel, named Cosmo!

Look at this great set.

I love the costumes, especially in this scene with Potiphar and his wife and accountants.

My tall nephew Jarrett played the Baker.
Even on his knees he is almost as tall as Joseph.

And I loved Pharaoh, (Elvis).
Side note- Austin is one of the guys holding the girls.
 (The one you can't see)
But they had to hold those girls like that forever.
And then do it again.
They really worked on their muscles!!!

Just had to show Austin as and Egyptian dancing!!!

O.K. back to being a brother.  I just love their expressions.

More dancing.  They just never seem to stop!
I don't know how they did it!

And more lifting girls.  Austin seemed always be lifting a girl.

Here is the ending coat of many colors!!

This show just had great costumes, set, dancing, singing and Kids!!!!!!

I have to say, this kid started three years ago trying out for Jr. High show choir, and could hardly sing.  And know this kid will knock your socks off!!
He is so funny and does such a great job with any character.
I'm so proud of you Austin!

Wow! That show is one of my favorites. I saw it done professionally at Gammage Auditorium and just looking at your pictures sure looks like those kiddos did just as good as the Gammage performance. All the costuming and set and all looks so professional. I wish I could have seen your boys in it. What talent! Love it!!

That does look fantastic! Thank goodness the beard is fake. ;-) Maybe Austin likes to volunteer to hold up the girls.
