Recycled Cabinet = Free Toe Kick

We are working, working, working on our bathroom!!!
What is this then?
This is an old laminate cabinet we have our camping stuff stored in the garage!

What does it have to do with our bathroom?

We want to make built in shelves for better storage here,
so we cut up the cabinet to make the toe kick for our bathroom cabinet.
(It will also be what we make our drawers out of it.)

Here is the first step of our lovely toe kick.
Notice we have a heater vent that will run through the toe kick.
The other opening is a garage for our bathroom scale.
Brilliant idea!!!
(Wish it were mine!  Les came up with that one.)
Once the cabinet is in place we will just have to slip the scale in and out.

Next week I'll post on the cabinet doors!!!

Ronda, I saw you linked on another blog and thought, "could that really be Ronda Batchelor?" And it was. You guys look like you are doing great. Since we have moved out of Crismon Ward we had our first set of twins and now we have another set too.
I love your closet project. Makes me want to get busy on mine. Thanks for the bacon pack stencil inspiration.
