So here's Nana's room.
She wanted a pop of color so we added the coral color.
She loves it.
She spray painted her wicker chair white.
Looks nice and airy.
I love the furry white rug we picked up at Walmart and ended up putting over the trunk at the end of the bed.
We painted her closet doors white, but it was kinda bland.
It was a challenge to think of somethong to add that wasn't 3-D.
(Because her doors were sliders.)
We added a strip of wall paper down the center of each door.
It gave just enough texture and interest to make her happy.
Here's a close up of the wallpaper.
It gave the room a little bling with it's shinny lines.
She wanted to keep the lamps and shades she already had,
so we added a little extra with crystal beads.
We took an old plaster frame she had and painted it black and put my sisters baby picture in it.
(She so cute)
I love the uniqueness of the frame.
We also hung some art work of Japanese girls she had.
I would have like to see something a little bigger here like a big graphic print.
But Nana already had these prints and likes them.
(And she looks at them everyday so she needs to like it.)
So there it is, it's a room that's all about Nana!
The bathroom is almost done and I'll show you soon!

Rhonda,
The room turned out beautifully!
Love all the personal photos and favorite pieces of art you thought to add to her space to make it special!
