Coming Clean - How to rid your shower of mold

I can't believe I'm going to show you my dirty little secret.
The mold in my shower.
With the shower getting wet everyday we have created the perfect mold growing factory!
 Warning this is gross!
I have tried just about everything to get rid of this mold.
All kinds of cleaners and toothbrushes
(old ones of coarse.)
But I could not get rid of it.
Then one day I saw this on Pinterest.

Which lead me to This Blessed Life and a post on getting rid of mold around her tub.
 I thought, "It's worth a shot!"
So with out further ado here is my moldy shower!!!
(top picture below)

"How did I work this magic?" you may ask.
Simple, simple, simple.
Went to the beauty supply store and bought a package of cotton beauty coils.
 (Basically long rolls of cotton.
I then soaked it in bleach and laid it on the mold.
After a few hours it was almost gone,
 (middle picture)
I left it all night.  The bottom picture shows what my beautiful shower looked like the next morning!!!!  Did you hear those angles singing?
  So simple and so affective!!
Tell me if you have this same problem!
My sister did and it worked for her too!!!
I hope this helps someone out there in blog land.
Thanks for stopping by.

I would have loved to know this long time ago when I was living in a rented apartment! After complaining to the rental company they sent me a crew to fix it, they applied new caulk, but after a month or so the problem returned. It went like that for many more times. Eventually I moved out but the problem was still there! Who knew it was so easy!

From what I've heard, this does not actually get rid of the mold - it simply bleaches it white!
