Happy Valentines Day!

Today is the day to celebrate the one you love!!

So that's what I'm gonna do!!

Spend some time with my sweetie on Valentines.

Have I ever mentioned we got engaged on Valentines day?

Les still can make me tingle when we kiss!

When it comes to one of my favorite things, DIY, Les is one of the best!!  

He and I make a good team. 

 Well, we should, we have been working together for almost 22 years!!

What you may not know is we make a good team in lots of other areas too!

Let's see, we made 6 beautiful kids!!

We make an awesome team at couples games!

He loves to cook and I don't, so he cooks almost every weekend!!

He loves me and I love him, so it works out pretty good!!

I was going to do a surprise post about Ronda for Valentine's Day, but was unsure how to get some awesome pictures of her on here.

 (She's much better than I am at those kinds of things.)

But as I was editing this post, I saw that she had left room for me to add my own comments.

Soooooo...............

You know how when you first get married, you look at your spouse and think to yourself, 

"I must me the luckiest guy in the world."

Well, after almost twenty-two years of marriage I can honestly say that not only am I the luckiest guy in the world, but I am also the most blessed. 

Ronda is so loving to her children, even when they don't seem to love her.

She is so patient with me and my stupid idiosyncrasies.

She works endlessly and thanklessly to make sure that the home is clean, the laundry is done, and that there's food in the fridge. Speaking of food...She is not only frugal when it comes to home decor and remodeling, but she is also frugal when it comes to groceries, clothing, and household items.

And speaking of home decor and remodeling.....is she awesome or what!!!!

How could I have known 22 years ago that Ronda had, or would one day develop, so many good qualities? 

Now that I think of it, luck has nothing to do with it.

It's all about the blessings.

Twenty-two years ago, my Father in Heaven gave me His blessing as I inquired whether we should get married. Since then, we have worked hard to be on the same page about the important issues and have included the Savior and His example in our decision making.

And that is why "luck" has nothing to do with it.

Happy Valentines day to my best friend, my confidant, my eternal companion, my lover.

(I just told her that I clicked on 'publish' instead of 'save' and she freaked out. HeeHeeHee.Yes, she also puts up with my jokes and pranks).
