About a month ago you may remember this awesome wooden door mat I made for The Home Depot Virtual Party.

I still love it, but today I want to talk about the lovely blue pots on either side of the mat.
If you thought they were new blue pots, you don't know me very well. Let me show you what they looked like before this spring porch make over.

Don't judge!
These babies have graced my front porch for a few years now, but were definitely past their prime.
Faded only begins to describe them.
I decided they needed a face lift if they were going to live on the front porch next to my new rocking wooden mat.
I was super excited to try out my new Home Right Spray Shelter.
It pops up just like a dome tent. Very easy to set up.
Once you put the poles in and stake it down it's ready to use.

My only complaint was that it didn't have a floor. I used a plastic drop cloth but the wind kept creating air pockets which blew the plastic up against my painting project; so keep that in mind. Using a canvas drop cloth would work better. Anyway, once my shelter was up I was ready to start transforming my pots. I started with a covering of spray primer.

I wanted the pots to be bright and shiny.
The color is spectacular!!

It never ceases to amaze me, how dramatic a change spray paint creates!

Who is ready to revamp their flower pots?

Thanks for stopping by!
